I love anthologies, especially ones that benefit a worthy cause. They are the perfect thing to help you discover new authors, or maybe new stories from an already familiar author or they can let you revisit some of your favorite characters.

They can also help introduce a new book that the author is working on, which is the case with Heidi McLaughlin’s short story. It is giving the reader a peak at Mason’s book. This short story lets the reader see a small part of what Mason’s book is going to be and it is going to be epic. I have been waiting for this book and this quickie made me even more excited for the whole book. It was the perfect snippet.

Aurora Rose Reynolds’s short story lets us back into the world of the Until Series and lets us see the struggles of July and Wes and how they came to the conclusion to adopt. It was emotional to read but it gave the reader the insight we had been asking about.

I can’t wait to read the other quickies in this anthology and of course support a great cause.
