Synopsis
Have you ever heard of the old Celtic legends of the Fae - beautiful, magical, and deadly creatures that have a love of messing with humans just for kicks and giggles?

What started out as a strange assignment, lead to one of the most gruesome murder mysteries of our times. My friends and I are set and determined to find out who is killing off Fae and Witches alike.
Couple of problems in the way – I hate the Fae and the Prince of the Dark Fae is bound and determined that I work for him. He’s a rude, overbearing egotistical ass with a compulsive need to possess, dominate and control me. Oh – did I mention that he is absolutely sex-on-a-stick gorgeous and he makes me feel things that I never ever wanted to feel for a Fae...every time he touches me or looks at me with those dangerous golden eyes he seems to pull me further in under his spell, despite my better judgment.
My friends and I can’t trust anyone and nothing is as it seems on the surface – not even me.

Fae, Witches, Demons and Vampires….OH MY! This book has them all plus some! So many players in this game but each one has a role to play. I am absolutely in love with this series just after reading the first book. I am a paranormal lover and have read so many books and series and this ranks in the top 5 for me. It is right up there with Night Huntress Series, Sookie Stackhouse Series, The Otherworld Series and Chicagoland Vampires Series for me. It has it all a strong heroine, an awesome hero, surrounding characters that all join together to create this crazy world to get lost in. There is action, mystery, suspense, love, hot sex and characters that will draw you in and not let you go.

Synthia is part of the Witches Guild helping to protect humans from the Otherworlders who wish to do them harm. She is great at what she does which has earned her a certain reputation. She is this stubborn, feisty, smart-ass, kick-ass taken names later girl who has a shit lot in life and carries a lot of weight on her shoulders. She is also loyal and loving and would do anything include die for those she considers family. Syn also has a side that not too many get to see, one where she shows her vulnerability and the effects that carrying all that weight on her shoulders has on her. All these things make up one of my favorite female characters I have read. I got lost in her and everything she experienced. She is surrounded by some of the most loyal and closest friends anyone could ask for. She may only have a couple but those are all she needs because they are everything to her.

Ryder…WOW what a character. There are so many secrets and different layers to him. Once you think you have him figured out the author throws a wrench in it. I am still so confused about him and there are times I wanted to throw my Kindle because of something he said or did but then I was right back to loving him. Some of the things he says will have you swooning. He has his own agenda and it really still isn’t clear to me what it is or how everyone around him will fit into it but I can’t wait to keep reading to find out.
This book had me hooked from the first chapter. I couldn’t stop reading. Everything else became nonexistent while I was reading this book. I am so excited to see what the author has in store for the next books. I highly recommend this to anyone. Even if you not a big fan of PNR this is a great book to see if you like it or try reading ti again because it is so much more than just paranormal. These characters will draw you in and not let you go.
