BOOKED EVERY NIGHT
I absolutely loved Jude and Aria’s story. I really hope we get to see more of them in future books because I’m not sure I could ever get enough of them.
Their dynamic is so real. There isn’t an instant love or anything like that. Their relationship takes hard work, finding time for each other and true strength to see them through their trials. Theirs isn’t a perfect relationship. It is one that has many obstacles in its way and one that has to persevere through many things.
Aria has had a life that no young girl should have to live. She has dealt with many things that most adults will never face. She has had to become the rock of her family at a young age and has matured quickly because of it. She works two jobs just to keep a roof over her and her Father’s head. She in her “spare time” takes care of her sick Father and tries to fit in some sleep every once in a while. She has been beaten but not broken. She has stood fat in the face of adversity. Aria had my respect and love from the beginning. She is so strong but yet so vulnerable. I love that being with Jude let her let loose some and be more of a normal girl her age. She got to live when she was with Jude. He was exactly what she needed in her life to really start living it.
Jude has had the world n his shoulders from a very young age. As the next great hope for English football (soccer) he has had the eyes of a country on him for as long as he can remember. He has also has the weight of his family on his shoulders for a long time. It is a side he doesn’t show most people but taking care of his young brothers is a responsibility he takes very seriously. He may have a care free and reckless attitude in public but what he doesn’t show people is his vulnerable side. Jude is cocky, mouthy and sometimes just a plain a**hole. He seems privileged and at some points he made me want to slap him upside his head, but he always redeemed himself and I loved when he would show his softer side to Aria.
These two really needed each other and it was great to watch them grow with each other. I really look forward to Vance and Kingston’s stories.
