Review

So, I have a confession. I was really scared to read this book. So scared that I waited till the last possible minute to read it. Why was I scared, you ask. I was scared that Bek wasn’t going to pick who I wanted her to be with. I was scared that because I am not a big fan of love triangles that I may lose some love for the characters involved.  I will not spoil anything and tell you if I was Team Jason or Team Brody, you will need to read it to find out. I will tell you that I had no reason to be scared at all. Not just because of the outcome but because the book was so well written. I am not a reader of love triangles but I couldn’t not read Bek’s story. I needed her to get her happy ending, no matter who that was with.

The writing was fantastic as usual. The story and plot flowed so well with the previous books. While this can be read as a standalone I HIGHLY recommend reading all of the Holly Woods books. Not only is this one of my favorite series ever, reading the previous books will help with the secondary characters and fitting them into the story. Bek is such a fun, feisty character and to see her vulnerable side in this book just made me love her even more.

I loved being in Bek’s head. I always wonder what she is thinking when reading about her and Noelle. Bek’s struggle is real when dealing with Brody and Jason. I felt for her because she has such a kind heart and only wants everyone in the situation to be happy.

This book flowed so well with the rest of the series and has amped up my excitement for the next Holly Woods book. I never want to leave these characters!
