Scorched started off a little confusing to me but it didn’t take long for me to catch on and start really enjoying the book. You get all 5 of the main character’s points of view and get to be in each of their heads. The author did a good job of keeping the flow with that many povs.

Each dragon was different. All the men had their own personalities and the author was able to let those personalities shine through in her writing. I loved how they all fulfilled a different part of Lyssa. She got everything she needed; it just came in the form of 4 hot dragons.

Lyssa hasn’t really been in touch with her dragoness in a long time. She is trying to live a human life but she isn’t human. That all becomes clear while she is helping her sister at the Gala. When a mystery happens Lyssa is forced to stay longer than she planned. She has to figure out a way to help her sister.

This book not only had hot dragons but suspense, mystery and it all continues into the next book. There is a slight cliffhanger but nothing that will have you screaming at the book when it ends.
