This book is for anyone who ever felt like a wallflower. It was such a good read. I love romantic/suspense books and both the romance and suspense were well written, one did not overshadow the other but both flowed well.

 

Calli has been “living” her life on the sidelines. Present but never fully participating. After a tragedy when she was little and events that followed left her scared and scarred. One day she decides she has had enough and is ready to start being active in her own life. First thing is to make friends and she finds 2 of the most perfect friends in Sienna and Poppy. Next is to find love but little did she know love had already found her. Calli was such a great character. She really grew into herself throughout the book.

 

Devin Hawthorne thought leaving the Police Force in Atlanta and moving to Savannah to start his own PI firm would make his life less crazy, He was wrong. Not only is his first case a missing woman but somehow his beautiful neighbor is involved. Now not only is he trying to follow every lead and find the missing woman, he is also trying to keep his neighbor out of trouble while trying to convince her he wants her.

 

This book had funny parts, sexy parts and twists and turns that will keep you guessing. This was my first book by this author but I have already one clicked and started another one of her books.
