I am a newer reader to Carrie Aarons but this book has me checking out all her previous releases. It was sweet, a little angst, great characters, it had heart and the writing was wonderful.

We are introduced to a small town world where everyone knows everyone and is all up in each other’s business. It was a captivating world that I can imagine any small town being that way.

They say opposites attract and that seems to be the case with Keaton and Presley. Presley is a city girl just there to help her Grandmother. She isn’t known to stay in one place or even one job for long. She is the black sheep of her family and is a wanderer. She has a hippie spirit with a huge heart.

Keaton is a planner, stay on the path kind of guy. He knew what he was going to do with his life super early on. He doesn’t do spontaneity and has only lived in his small town. He is a vet, like his father before him. He is the one everyone looks to for guidance and help. He is the shoulders that his family’s world rests on.

These two are like oil and water until they aren’t. This author took you on a sweet ride with Keaton and Presley and leaves you needing Bowen and Lily’s story.
