Review

I am usually iffy on second books in a series. They are usually good but nothing compared to the first book. Well, that is COMPLETELY WRONG about this book. The author has outdone herself.

Love Hurts is one of my favorite books of the year so far but Love Burns is MY FAVORITE this year!

The book starts off right where Love Hurts left off and it doesn’t stop until the end. There is drama, angst, love, hot sexy moment (what do expect when Deacon Love is involved though), there are moments that may make you cry (I bawled like and baby and then cursed the author). This book has it all!!

Deacon is hotter than ever and his determination to prove his love to Frankie is beautiful! It is hard to describe the book without giving anything away.  I fell even further in love with Deacon during this book. I don’t know what the author has in store for future books but I hope somehow Deacon and Frankie are included in some way because these are two characters I won’t forget.

This book did leave me with a few questions that I would love to have answered about some secondary characters and I hope they will get their own books so those questions are answered!

I wish I could give this book more than 5 stars because it was that amazing!!
