BOOKED EVERY NIGHT
Review
“You can’t question the choices you made. You can’t change the past. But you can certainly embrace the choices waiting in your future.”
~ Holly
This book is about two lost souls finding healing and a second chance at love with each other. These two characters each carry their own type of pain from something tragic in their past. While Holly is moving forward because she has no choice with a 7 year old daughter to take care, Pierre is living in the past and is barely even existing.
Holly and Pierre meet when Holly accepts a job at the restaurant that Pierre is the head chef. There is tension and things do not start off on the right foot, until Pierre saves Holly from something horrible. It creates a bond between them that only grows. Holly’s daughter is such a cutie. Emma takes to Pierre quickly and never looks back.
Pierre definitely has his own demons. He is full of guilt, anger and has no problem taking it out on everyone around him. It takes a fellow person in pain and a sweet 7 year old for him to realize that there is something in life still worth living for. He is an alpha Frenchman who once he decides to give it a try with Holly he goes all in.
Pierre is an ass but wow what a change in him throughout the book. Holly grows a lot too. I enjoyed this book and watching how the characters grew together and learned that life had more to offer them than the heartache it had delivered.
