This short story kept me on my toes while reading. It is a good lead into the series. It does make you want to buy the series and keep reading to find out what is going to happen.

The characters are written well. It provided a little of everything, mystery, suspense, drama, steamy scenes. Just remember when reading it, it is the beginning of a series so it does end abruptly and on a cliffy.
