Review ~ Happily Ever Alpha World

Bryson’s is a favorite place of the Mayson’s, great steaks and great drinks. Who knew that the Mayson’s BOOM would rub off on the owner of Bryson’s, Mani? One look at Vivi and it was all over for him.

Vivi has just moved to town to stay with her best friend Lyla. After some bad things happened to her in Florida which left in desperate need of a change, Tennessee is just what she needs. Now she just needs to find a job and get off Lyla’s couch. Luckily fate has a little more in store for her.

I loved Mani and Vivi’s story. It fit perfectly with the Happily Ever Alpha World. It was well written, with great characters and connected to the Until Series perfectly. It is filled with sweetness, an obsessive/possessive Alpha, a great heroine, a little trouble and of course the BOOM. This book is a great addition.

Tom and Merri have been best friends for years. Both have wanted more but neither had wanted to mess with their friendship. Tom decides to finally go for it and asks Merri to be his date for a banquet honoring his Dad. Queue an awkward conversation that ended up with Merri saying yes. Yes, to the date and yes to them being a “them”.

Tom and Merri have a few obstacles to get through before they can live their happily ever after, like Merri’s sister who is best friend’s with Tom’s ex wife, or their parents.

This story was written well and was a good quick standalone but for me it didn’t really fit in with the Until Series. There was no real BOOM since they had been best friends for a while and both had wanted more for a while also. It was a good friends to lovers read though.

Jensen Reed is a dirty talking, Alpha cop who finds his BOOM in Twyla. She is waitressing at a local bare when Jensen saves her from some drunken jerks. Little did he know that wouldn’t be the last time he had to safe her.

Twyla is working a new job and just trying to learn the ropes. Her boss isn’t the nicest person but she needs the job so she tries to stay off of his radar. She doesn’t do too good of a job though. After dealing with drunk jerks inside the bar little did she know something worse was waiting outside for her. Thank goodness for Jensen.

Jensen works with Nico and Leo and just happens to be out with Nico that night. Fate has a way of putting you where she needs you and Jensen was right where he was supposed to be.

I loved this book. It fits so well with the other Happily Ever Alpha World books and the Until Series.
