I think I loved LUST more than SIN. Emma knows how to write characters and worlds that draw you in and don’t let you go. Not just her main characters either, all the characters that surround them are well written and make you want to know more about them also. Especially in this book, Lola and Zac. Those two stole the show anytime they were even mentioned.

Perrie is someone who you immediately are drawn to and I at least just wanted to hug her and tell her everything was going to be ok. She is working a job no one should feel like they HAVE to work just to get by, especially when she is a single mother just trying to do her best for her daughter. She is someone who her whole life had been an outcast and suffered emotionally. Even writing this my heart hurts for her and her story. Thank goodness for Detective Adrian Potter!

Adrian is working a taskforce to help crackdown on prostitution in Las Vegas. It is his job but it is also personal. He takes it very seriously. He is dedicated to what he believes is right and also dedicated to being a single father to his son, Zac. From the second they meet things change in both of them.

I loved watching them develop their relationship and watch it grow. I think watching the children instantly bond and grow close was even better. Zac and Lola attached themselves to my heart right away. When they are together you never know what will happen. They will make you laugh so hard but then they will also bring tears to your eyes. Such beautiful innocence even after everything they have been through as small children.

Another fantastic book by this wonderful author. I look forward to whatever she may write next.
