Review

“In chaos theory, the butterfly effect is the sensitive dependency on initial conditions in which a small change at one place in a deterministic nonlinear system can result in large differences in a later state.”

First off, I need to say…Hail to the evil genius brain of Teresa Mummert!!!

This book was fantastic. It had many twists and turns in it that it keeps the reader on the edge of their seat needing to know what is going to happen next. She has weaved so many interlocking stories within the plot that sometimes you don’t know which way is up but in my opinion that is what makes her writing so great.

The book catches you from the beginning. It gives you just enough of a background to get you hooked and then it keeps you hooked.Rellik is a musician in a band that is middle of the road famous. They aren’t superstars but have no problem filling the smaller venues they play.

Ella is working at a bar and just trying to get by. She is one tough girl. Her life has not been easy in any sense of the word but she has made it through and is trying to put the pieces back together.  Ella is an amazing character. She really showed such strength and courage throughout the entire book.

Each chapter starts with the definition of a word that will mean something, in some way during that chapter. I really thought that added to the book. Each word had me trying to figure out how it would fit into that chapter. It is those little things that made this book stand out to me.

This book was so well written that the reader will be guessing the whole time on what is going to happen next. I advise making sure you have time to read because you will not want to put this book down until the end.  I highly recommend this book to any reader.

“If I was the butterfly, he was the storm, the justice that would wash away my past so I could start again.”
