BOOKED EVERY NIGHT

Breaking Mr. Cane, broke me. Cane and Kandy had my heart (and panties) melting but also had my heart breaking for them. So much happens in this book and I do not want to give anything away. The author definitely throws some twists in there for the reader and keeps them guessing what is going to happen next.



Kandy is at college and trying to move forward with her life but her heart isn’t having any of it. She meets some great friends and tries to get over Cane. My heart broke for her, it just felt like she had so much stacked against her from the beginning, but Kandy is a fighter. I really enjoyed watching her grow during this book. I think she learned a lot about herself during the time frame this book takes place. She grew into herself more.



Cane is fighting battles on so many fronts in this book. He is getting hit left and right by things. He has the Dereck situation, the Kandy situation, he has Kelly and all her crazy and then there is even more added on it. We get to meet some of his family in this book and learn more about his past. I loved that his only source of peace was Kandy. These two just feel right together and even while reading it I could feel that they are stronger together than they are apart.



I really need book 3!! I need to see where the author is going to take this story.
