Aurora is living a life, if you can call if that, that has her so sheltered and trapped. She has been raised by a mother who only uses her. She hasn’t ever felt real love. Her passion in life is also her torment. Dancing is all she knows but it is never good enough for her mother. All she wants is to feel like she is enough and to be shown love from the one person who is supposed to love her. Aurora may be naïve in a lot of things but she is a tortured soul also.
Noah is a self proclaimed workaholic who doesn’t have time for thing such as the ballet. Little does he know that one forced appearance there would change the course of his life forever. He is immediately obsessed with the beauty on the stage. He will do anything to make her his. He won’t let anyone including her mother get in his way. I loved that Noah went to great lengths to make sure he got what he wanted. After seeing Aurora for the first time he changed his whole life to revolve around when he would finally have her. His obsession turned to devotion and it was such a sweet thing to read.
