Review

Dirty is the anticipated next book in the Raw Family Series. This is Julius story and also in part Ling’s story or at least it seems the beginning of it.

Julius us still recovering from losing his best friend and partner Twitch but has made a new life for himself and brought Ling along in it. He is now a mediator for the underworld. He is called in due to the death of a loyal soldier and son-in-law of Eduardo Castillo.

Enter Alejandra Castillo Gambino, daughter of Eduardo Castillo and wife of Dino Gambino, son of the head of the Gambino family. Alejandra is living a secret life and not in a good way. She has learned to hide what happens behind closed doors from her family but is she good enough to hide it from Julius. Alejandra gets herself in a pickle and tries to run. Julius goes after her and chaos ensues.

This book has some sweet parts, you get to see a side of Julius you didn’t really get in Raw but it is also on the dark side. There are things that happen that may make you twinge but the writing flowed well and the plot was smooth. It was great writing and worth the wait.

This was a great book. I loved getting into Julius head and seeing him fall. I can’t wait for the 3rd book in this series to get more from everyone.
